The SB220 has been replaced,
After many years the Heatkit SB220 has finally been replaced.
Due to her weight an power consumption I have decided to look for an other amplifier.
Lucky enough I found a almost new SPE Expert 1K5-FA amp.
My decision to buy this amp was taken in a split second.
Only 20 pounds, 10 Kg in weight and a solid 1.5Kw output.
In the meanwhile I found a new and good home for my SB220, I’m happy that the SB220 is in good hands and will be treasured.
So my station now:
Elecraft K3, Elecraft P3, SPE Expert 1K5-FA linear, Palstar 1500 and windom OFC antenna.
